Lip lift
Lip lift is a permanent surgical procedure to increase the amount of pink lip you see, helping lips look youthful and full. It also exposes more of the upper teeth, when smiling, which also makes you look younger. There are usually two categories of patients, who opt for this surgery: younger people, who wish for fuller looking lips and are tired of fillers or mature women who are frustrated with the elongation of this area and wish for a more youthful look.
How the surgery is performed?
During the surgery incisions are made just below the nostrils and a bullhorn shaped strip of skin is carved out to shorten the space between the bottom of the nose and the top of the lips. The incisions are then closed with sutures. The procedure raises the edges of the lips causing lips to look more enhanced, and defines the Cupid's bow.
