Orthopaedic surgery

Centre of Orthopaedics and Traumatology is a centre providing diagnostic and treatment services both for the diseases of musculoskeletal system and bone, muscle, ligament and joint trauma:

• Consultations and treatment are provided by the physician orthopaedic traumatologists;
• Instrumental examinations are carried out using the modern medical equipment: X-ray examinations, computer tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); they assist in timely and proper diagnostics of complex musculoskeletal diseases;
• Treatment of orthopaedic diseases applying the most advanced osteoarthritis (arthrosis) treatment method – mesenchymal stem cell therapy with Lipogems® technology;
• Minimally invasive (arthroscopic) surgery is available to treat the tears of knee meniscus, cruciate and lateral ligaments and the tears of the shoulder ligaments;
• Endoprosthetic surgery to replace articular surface using the prosthesis and implants of well known manufacturers: BIOMET, ZIMMER, W.LINK, DE PUY JOHNSON & JOHNSON etc.;

Consultation with an orthopaedic traumatologist is recommended, if:

• You have experienced arm or leg trauma and have suffered from joint, tendon and muscle pain, swelling, difficulty moving and other worrying symptoms;
• You suffer from pain, swelling of limb joints, tendons and muscle, difficulty moving without any reason;
• Arm or leg deformity has developed;

• You suffer from foot disease: misshapen, deformed toe, ingrown and deformed nail, heel spurs foot joint arthrosis ;
• You suffer from flatfoot.
